KIX Shell for ProDOS vs Aztec C Shell for ProDOS

I want to do a comparison between the Aztec C Shell(s) and the Kyan Pasacl
KIX Shell and place it on my Apple Oldies Website (
http://www.appleoldies.ca/ ) and on my Aztec C Museum Website (
http://www.aztecmuseum.ca/ ).
I downloaded the KIX Manual that Paul Santa-Maria put on the gmail account
and I can't find any reference to creating additional shell commands that
accept command line arguments.
When using the Aztec C ProDOS Shell or the DOS 3.3 Shell and the Aztec C
compiler, one has the capability to write additional commands of this nature
and filters etc. I am wondering if anyone knows if the KIX Shell offers the
same capability or is it simply a better interface than what Apple offered?
