The Apple II keyboard (even the Apple IIe keyboard) does not have as
many keys as the MPF-III keyboard. A PC keyboard would be a better
match and a small uC could be programmed to interface between the MPF-
III keyboard connector and the PS/2 connector.

I doubt the 8048 in the MPF-III keyboard is even socketed (but I will
check).
