While I agree that CF pretty much makes all that stuff obsolete, I still have a stack of 20 - 40 MB external SCSI drives that could be quite useful if not for the exorbitant prices SCSI cards generally fetch.
I wouldn't say it's a priority, but I also don't think the idea should be dismissed out of hand.
