Hi Rick,

Thanks for sharing your ideas... Creating a Carte Blanche for the IIc
is very possible. However, getting the II version proven by software
first would help a lot.
CB has an on-board oscillator - the same as the Apple II. As a result,
you can put a complete Apple II on Carte Blanche without even having
to plug it into a II - Just a 5V Plug pack to its external power
connector and there's your Apple II on a card. All IO for keyboard etc
is through the IDE connector.

Enabling development of a 65C816 accelerator is why we have a small
board called the (CPU and) ASIC adaptor. For any designs that require
an external processor (such as the 65C816, as we don't have a soft
core version), this board allows the processor to be connected up to
the FPGA.

I hope to have the schematics completed and posted soon so we can all
see what CB consists of.
