Disagree. I prefer a Microdrive CF solution. Serial may have been the best
way in the 1980's.

Use DSK2FILE if you want to make floppy images. Comes with the Microdrive.
Then just use Ciderpress on the PC side to extract dsk files or make hdv
image to run in AppleWin.
As far as someone having some ideas, some great minds have already beat them
to it:)
