Just wonder if I'm missing an easier way of transferring files (or
volumes) between my Windows computer and my IIGS.
Right now I transfer files FROM my IIGS via Prodos formatted ZIP
disks. Ciderpress' Volume Transfer allows me to access the ZIP disk
and copy it to my Windows computer.
To transfer TO my IIGS, I copy the file(s) to a MSDOS formatted ZIP
disk and use MUG to copy it to the IIGS.
On occasion I will use ADTPro to transfer files to the IIGS, but that
is a very slow process that I only use for an occasional file or disk.
Am I missing any easier methods?
CiderPress will also allow opening volumes as "writeable", so
you can use the same method going back to the IIgs.
You can either copy and paste groups of files or you can get
the "volume" on the PC the way you want it, then copy it all
back to the Zip disk. (This is the same way you would use
CiderPress to restore a backup.)
