It may be easier to find an LocalTalk box with a DE-9M plug (I have a
PhoneNet box that someone damaged the mini-DIN-8 pins so I cut it off
and replaced it with a DE-9M).

Then you just need an IDC-10 to DE-9F straight through ribbon cable
and you can bolt the DE-9F into an appropriately sized hole in the IIe
back panel.
