Hi Roger,
I'm working on a DOS 3.3 compatible implementation that interfaces
from a DISK ][ to PC. Current state of the design can read and write
any sector on a DOS 3.3 disk as well as format a disk(though formating
isn't very reliable, just yet). My PC interface needs a lot of work,
but I consider that the less challenging part of this project.

An amazingly complete description of the Disk II technology is in the
book. "Understanding the Apple II".

You could probably implement an interface with the information in this
book, alone. I did refer to Apples RWTS firmware and actual hardware
a few times, but it mostly just confirmed what was described in the
book.
Also there is a commented disassembly of the RWTS driver (minus format
function) floating around the web. I plan to put up my commented
disassembly of the format function when I get around to getting the OK
from the person that I borrowed the original #defines from.

Has anyone ever made like a DISK ][ to another interface. I have read
some of the documentation on the net and cant see why it isnt
possible?!? Or am I just kidding myself?
Where can i get a schematic of the DISK][ interface card?
Does anyone have a bin or decompile of the PROM on the interfacecard?
