One only has to look at how under utilised the existing enhancements
are. For example, a IIe with a 4Mhz accelerator, 1mb of extended
memory and a fixed disk drive is a *vastly* more capable piece of
hardware than the standard 128k + Disk ][ configuration. Appleworks
and PublishIt! exploit that platform nicely, but that's about it.
Where is the large suite of software the programmers have had 20 years
to write? :-)
