That would be the idea.  It's an open hybrid on the inside, very
similar to looking into an EPROM, on the top side.

Ok, next issue: Are the leads bent around and soldered to the top like that picture above? If so, that would explain why I have to rock the corner with the RST* line up to get it to start - the motion would pull the lead down against the pad.

The bad news is that I'll need to excavate in from the side (or top) to get there. Either way, this does not look like my idea of fun.

Given that my unit is potted with what appears to be black epoxy, I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions on a surgical strategy.
