The money in many cases is going to the families or trusts. Yes the studios are getting money. It is not just laws in the US, there are International laws that are enforced by Interpol and other agencies, even China is starting to enforce. Several years ago I went to the Software Publishers Association because a site was allowing D/L of code that I owned. They refused to remove it and it took me a while to even locate the site, when I did I had the site removed and the SWPA took the legal action. You are making the same claims as the Pirates made in the 80's, theft is theft.
