Re: Not your father's Applicard

I have tested the DOS RAMDISK driver that comes with the PCPI
disk. Works just fine. FID reports about 123K of free memory.
Just 5K for the overhead is not bad. I have the 128K memory
installed.

So the card development is done 100%. I have added an option to
switch the common bank area between 8 and 16K. Since I needed
to change the board a bit I have added an extra touch. A place to
add extension. As an example a tiny USB plug-in board that will
provide an extremely fast connection with a PC/MAC/Linux box.

:-)

Now I have to blow the dust off a never-completed package that booted the Applicard out of ProDOS, leaving it resident while CP/M ran. This was part of the ramp-up to the CardZ180 system (which always worked that way) and I never really polished it for distribution.

My assembly-language brain cells have been atrophied by years of C++ programming, so I'm not sure how quickly this will get done.
