Anyway, Geoff suggested that I take a look at this:

It's a port driver for printing to a file, at least partially written
in C.

It could be a good start for something... unfortunately, I know so
little about C and IIGS programming that... I'd probably not be able
to make anything that even came close to running. (And my patience is
short when it comes to that sort of thing - I actually posted about
this AFTER I decided I didn't know enough to attempt it.)
