Poor man's Apple FPGA card :)



Hi All,

All this talk of FPGA's in Apple2's is quite exciting (to me anyway!).

Alex's card seems like a great idea.

Since I have a few existing Altera/Xilinx dev boards here, thought it might be
fun to simply make up an interface to one of those instead:

Pic shows a very quick hack, with a few bus-switches (PI5C3244) for
the 3.3V <> 5.0V conversion, connected via 40pin cable to an Altera DE1.
There are 32signals passed to the DE1: A15-A0,D7-D0, R/W etc.

Now if Alex would just post the source of that VGA interface project.....
