Thanks. It is relatively easy to copy an existing design using modern
tools and even using contemporary tools it's not very hard for a
design
of this complexity. The only somewhat creative part was putting most
of the glue logic into a CPLD, but that's exactly what CPLDs are for.

To answer a question I got by e-mail the design will be "published" on
my web page when I finish a little modification.

Steve says it's important to make the banked memory common block
configurable. There are not enough CPLD pins to do this the obvious
way, so I need to make a little change on the board.

So far I got 13 orders. The kit is definitely a go. I'll wait a few
more days
and order the PCBs. They will take some 10 days at least at a cheap
price. That will give me time to update the web page.
