SVD:
1. emulates a disk DRIVE. Connects to a stock floppy controller.
2. Needs disk images uploaded from a PC into RAM
3. Works at exactly the floppy speed.

My device:
1. Plugs into an Apple slot.
2. Uses disk images on flash media.
3. Somewhat faster in "floppy" mode - data is ALWAY available
whenever the 6502 does a LDA C08E,X
Extremely fast in ProDOS mode - as fast as Apple can read data.

On the downside it only works with Apple 2 computers.

And this is NOT a sales pitch. I tried hard to discourage the last few
people who wanted to get it. The volume is way too low for
professional assembly and I don't enjoy hand-soldering this stuff.
