ProDOS is probably allright. Isn't the VTOC in DOS a problem?

The only patch I've seen is for 800K using a ProDOS block device.

My Vista A800 8" controller came with a utility for writing 1.2M diskettes under DOS. Not sure how they implemented this, since I never used it.
