I think I worked out what's causing the 'camping problem' while
driving to work just now, will try and fix it tonight.

The thumbnail view of all HGR is a neat idea, it will need a bit of
fiddling with the internals to make it work without maxing out the cpu
on my web host, so might take a few weeks till I get a chance to do
that.

Not sure what to do about the false positives - for Apple DOS dsks,
I'm assuming that anything that is loaded to $2000 or $4000 and is
between 8184 and 9000 bytes long is a HGR picture. (the file size
range was determined from the sizes of things that I know really are
pictures). I'd be happy to get some advice on better heuristics
though.
