As for the Shuffleboard NIB, there are a few reasons why it might
fail. If the disk always boots on a real II, simply try making the NIB
again. Annoying I know, but sometimes the read routine won't capture a
proper track image. Drive speed can be a factor here.

Since the game was written circa 1981 it's unlikely to use any complex
protection that NIB can't handle. It might use half tracks, which NIB
actually can support with some fiddling from someone with know-how.
(Sorry I'm too busy at the moment to help more with that.)

Another problem might be AppleWin itself, since some games do quirky
checks for suspicious hardware (e.g. Wildcards) and AppleWin might
fail that. So you could try another emulator.
