I'm not sure what makes them "very similar": the first one is for the special "aux" slot where the "80 col" card is normally plugged. Count the number of the gold "fingers". The wide chip appears to be static memory.

The other card is for the standard slot. Very likely it is an RGB card,
but would require at least the video signal (not present at the slot) to work. I suspect J4 had a cable connected to some chip on the motherboard. Or maybe J1 should be connected to the video signal.


Does anyone have any thought, suggestions, brilliant ideas, etc. :-)

Find out how to supply the missing signal and it will probably work.
