This may be a stupid question, but is there any way to use a Videx Videoterm card in a IIe while still using the RAM on the IIe 64K/80- Col card? The reason I ask is that I borrowed a Videoterm card and the font is so much more readable than the Apple font in 80 columns. Alternately, does anyone have a IIe font ROM that has a nicer font (keeping the mousetext of course)?
The difference in quality is the result of using a 7x9 font matrix. The video generated by the Videx card devotes more scan lines and more pixels per line to text than the Apple //e, so improving the //e font is not "in the cards". ;-) -michael ******** Note new website URL ******** NadaNet and AppleCrate II for Apple II parallel computing!
