I'd suggest switching from a2tools to AppleCommander (as I did for the cc65 docs). It supports ProDOS and DOS 3.3?

<snip>

It's a good suggestion. I agree. Remember that ac thread that we marked our calendars on:) Mark them again.

Harry was in that thread too.

But from the sounds of things he wasn't able to get java installed on his windows machine and he went back to using a2tools.

OK seriously Oliver, to solve this thing for Harry this is the first thing that we would need to get him to do. He needs to spend the time to get ac installed and to learn how to use it. But I am not sure how much more help we can be until this occurs. John Matthews covered this in great detail with him in that other thread. Skirting the issue by sticking with Terry K's old program is not the answer here, I agree. Mark your calendar again:)

BTW the following link is broken at http://www.cc65.org/doc/intro-6.html#ss6.1 because asimov has been reorganized:

Emulates Apple II/IIe computers, with sound, video, joysticks, serial port, and disk images. Includes monitor. Only for Windows. The package comes with DOS 3.3 disk (called "master.dsk") images; however, you will need a2tools (available at ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/unsorted/a2tools.zip).

Bill, Bill, Bill, you simply repeated the same broken link. Here is the good link for those who really care. ;-) ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/utility/a2tools.zip
