Someone recently did a similar thing with a bunch of previously unported
Sierra games for the TRS-80 Coco...

That's right, I had forgotten about that.  IIRC only Kings Quest 3 had
been ported to the CoCo and they used that code to port other games.
Pretty nifty!  You'd think that the CoCo fan club would be even
smaller than the IIgs's though.  Labor of love I guess...

The CoCo community was always smaller.  And since that machine uses
a unique microprocessor (6809) and OS-9, users relied more on their own
developers for software and hardware.  What remains of the group is more
technical/hobbyist than usual.
