Thanks, Michael, for an extended message. I understand the limitations
but just wanted something quick and dirty. Ideally with example numbers
"got xxx applestones on YYY accelerator board".

Once the SPEEDTEST.DSK was mentioned, "locate" found it on my private 
"mirror" of the standard Apple archives :)
Disk space is virtually free these days so I copied them wholesale 
before they go off-line for whatever reason.
