I've just had another idea. Does the 'root folder' have about a gazillion nested levels? It will try to go down as deeply as it can to find disk images, but I assumed that everyone would have a dedicated folder that just contains disk images, and maybe only goes down a few levels. Either that or you're all trying to run it on your Apple II...:)
