I agree, and love this chip.

But I have found one program whose "menu" function misbehaves with
it:  IIGIF.  I was never sufficiently motivated to determine exactly
why the menu display for IIGIF was somewhat scrambled with the Zip Chip
active, but it is.

If that's the only "incompatibility", then that's a pretty good argument
for compatibility!
