Why do you consider the TWGS superior to the ZipGS? I thought that
the Zip ran much cooler and every bit as fast.

Yes, Michael. I find my IIGS works quite well at the 7.5MHtz. I
guess people like to crank it up and the TWGS cards seem to be easier
with that. I remember someone put up 3 TWGS cards and they each went
for less than $50.
I think that the ZipGS is also quite easy to upgrade. Any distinction
seems to be subjective--except for cooler!
This superdrive card and all the original type peripherals go much
higher I think because they are ORIGINAL equipment. I have seen those
NEW 4MB cards not sell for $50 yet old cards go over $100.
I would have to say that I am one of those, a retro purist.
I'm much too much of a "user" to be a purist. If it works, I'm
all over it!
I have a CFFA card but I just haven't had the time to really play with
it. I am sure it makes things easier. One of these days...
If you already have a hard disk, it just makes things faster, quieter,
and more reliable.
If you don't have a hard disk, it will change your Apple II life!
