Re: Virtual GS for iPhone

Very neat. It does take 25% of the CPU (2.0ghz G5) to run the star demo. That is not your fault, but it does stink.

Is your iPod touch running iPhone OS 1.1.x or 2.0.x?

I have since split the little project into 2. The Applesoft-like
version is designed primary for doing simple graphics in Safari (PC/
Mac/iPhone) that assume 640x400, 16 color Super Hires color palette.
The QuickDraw-like version is designed primary for doing graphics and
animation in iPhone that assume a 320x200, million of colors screen.

You can view the Applesoft-like version in your iPod touch or any
Safari browser, and can view the source code. No software installation
or plugin needed.

The QuickDraw-like version remains the same in:

I am still expanding the codes and trying to bring more Apple II-like
programming experiences into the modern world.
