Yes, but... the serial hardware in a IIc+ is a little different
situation than a physical SSC.  I'm still interested to know what
other accelerated situations cause the problem.

IIRC, the IIc+ slows down to 1MHz when accessing slots
2, 5, and 6, by default.

But it's possible I mis-remember, since I use a Zip Chip utility
to set "slot" speeds when I boot.
