Hi Sean,
I should be able to help you out. I'll check what I have to prove I have
a spare in working condition.
When my mother was still teaching, the school she was teaching at had a
somewhat one-eyed computer expert (If it didn't run an M$ operating
system it wasn't worth having, in his view).
There were around fifteen Apple //e's that were going into the dumpster.
My storage space was limited so I had to choose between saving a few
machines whole or stripping them out and dumping the cases. I kept one
whole and stripped the rest. (Yet more cases lost to landfill) :-(
Funnily enough, the school was in Sydney, but now I live in Perth; still
postage shouldn't cost too much.
While the FAQ says that ][+ and IIe power supplies are interchangeable.
I'm not sure about the Europlus and the //e in the 240V flavour. Can
anyone more knowledgeable than me can confirm their interchangeability?
I'll send you an email once I've confirmed I can be of help.
Regards,
Anthony
