The SED1341F is a video converter for monochrome LCDs.

The card is sitting in the computer, being used as a host for it's
power, perhaps there is also a touch screen involved there as the
joystick connector is utilized.

The ribbon cable going to the game port appears to be going to pin 3,
4 and 14. which are button 1 and 2, and annunciator 1.

The massive ribbon cable from incoming brings in 8 pins from the
daughter card and the rest go to that 25 pin connector which would be
consistent with the interconnect on an LCD screen of that area.

I'd have killed for that thing back in the day, and still would be
interested as I have compatible LCDs..

the daughter card appears to be meant to be attached to the backplane
in a 25 pin spot. The two RCA's would mean to me that you could pass
through what video was taken in, and the RJ45 perhaps is for RGB being
that the area on the backplane is limited, a small cable like the PC
Transporter used could have put the RGB right back into the computer.

You interested in trading something for it?

It's weird, I'm convinced I've seen a card like this before. I can't
picture where. But I've never seen an LCD of that era on an A2 other
than what I've hacked over the years.
