It does make you wonder what kind of games we COULD seen for
had the IIGS not fallen out of the commerical gaming market in 1991.
It was impressive, especially the volcanic cave level with the parallex
scrolling, reminded me of the effects in the Sword of Sodan demo.

Are you talking about the opening credits? I don't remember any
in-game music, unless this is a newer release I haven't seen.

There were two version released incidentally. The newer one
has three levels (you can instantly skip to them by pressing "q")
and has a 1996 copyright date. There was some thought on
David finishing it if I remember right, I even offered to re-do all
the graphics and sprites at the time.
I actually wrote up a review of DOTW for the final issue of
II-Alive magazine (Winter 1996). Hard to believe that was 12
years ago! I still have it here, I should go see what I wrote... :)
