I'm not sure if Safari would be the best platform to attempt to support.  It 
looks like Firefox would be much more trivial.

Since KEGS (the base code for Active GS) has support for X11, see 
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/XEmbed_Extension_for_Mozilla_Plugins for 
details on how to embed X11 applications within Web pages with Firefox.  And 
since X11 is available for MacOS and UNIX, a plethora of platforms can be 
supported with the same code base.  I haven't been able to figure out if 
XEmbed is available in Firefox today or if it needs to be compiled in 
manually.  But the technology looks sound so Windows doesn't have to be the 
only operating system to have a GS emulator Browser plug-in.
