If you're willing to write code in C++, you can do it with the diskimg
library. See the "getfile" and "mdc" implementations in the "linux"
directory. You could also script up "mdc" and "getfile" into some awful
processing system, but neither program was really meant for that.
My hope is that releasing the disk image library with some sample code
will allow people to write useful command-line tools for Linux, such as
batch extractors. C/C++ may not be the best language here though.
Anybody want to figure out Python bindings? :-)
