Re: Shall an Unidisk 3.5 connected to IIGS smart port, boot troubleless?

If so i guess something on the drive is faulty. I hope is only the
mechanism and not the rare logicboard. I'll try to clean magnetic
heads or i'll try swap with a known good mechanism
even if i'm not sure if i have another spare 800 k mechanic.

I've another question: could an apple IIGS daisy chain allow two apple
3.5 drive who had undergone superdrive mechanic swap (obviously both
working 800k) ? I ask cause i've already replaced one 800 k mechanic
with a "superdrive" mac one and it works successfully only if is "the
first" on the chain. If two of these "hidden superdrive" are not
allowed by IIgs chain i wouldn't use my only 800 k mechanism in order
to restore the unidisk and i would prefer to find another 3.5 to
"cannibalize".

Thanks for your suggestions.
