It's not a new project. It's rather an invitation to make one coming
from Altium - company that makes arguably the best board layout software and is trying to get into FPGA design tools business.

I was contacted by Steve a few weeks ago. He saw my FPGApple and asked
if it would be easy to port it to the Altium platform. I had assured him that it would be quite easy.

I kind of assumed if Altium wanted to have this work done for free and get a project to be used as an example to advertise and promote their
(quite nice) tools, they would give me a board. Apparently they wanted
me to buy my own to do free work for their benefit.
In fact Steve never replied to my last e-mail when I asked for the board.

So now they (Altium) are looking for volunteers to buy a board for $1000
or more, make the attachment with the slots, buy the tools license for a few more grand and do their work for them.

Ah, free enterprise in the morning... ;-)
