Re: GSoft BASIC Ramble

Hi Mike, thanks for the information. It is really nice to talk to
someone who is very important in many Apple IIGS programmers heart.

I have just downloaded Star Logo on Mac to briefly take a look, and
will try it out. However, I personally prefers BASIC/Pascal over LOGO
because they are more generic - my 8 years old son is learning not how
to do animation, but to write a game. He is currently using Complete
Pascal (and in a lesser extend, GSoft BASIC) to do his programming.

Star Logo implementation also does not look too good in Mac,
especially where the button text is not align properly, etc. It is
easy to see that it is ported.

Personally I would love an GSoft BASIC type of environment, but run
natively on PC/Mac. If implemented well, software written in such
environment not only will run on PC/Mac, but also on the Apple IIGS.
