Re: Apple IIGS sales demo music
Okay, I've added both of them to the download section on apple2.info
The music sequence and the voice announcing "Introducing the Apple
IIgs"
They are separated, you can play them in sequence. I did not bother
with the Hello, bonjour, etc, in various languages.
The music is played at the opening and closing of the sequence.
So if you have it in loop mode it will play once, and then a few
minutes later play twice, back to back. Because it finishes and then
starts again.
I have a couple sets of the original disks, I copied the contents to
folders on a CF Focus and then put it all in one folder and edited a
file that is in the BIN directory on Disk 1, that contains the paths
to the rest of it, to correspond with the pathnames.
The thing loads very quickly this way. I also put it all one one HD
disk. You can do this by just naming the disk /SD2 and putting the
contents of both onto the one disk as-is. No editing needed. The only
important name is the second disk- or where the content is. You can
copy the first disk contents anywhere you want, as long as the second
is on a volume called /SD2.
I had this burned onto ROMs with the dealer diagnostic disk contents
back in the day. (When EPROMs were not cheap. ;-)
