Unfortunately there are neither a service manual nor alignment instructions...
I've also the Apple service manual for this drive ( 7 pages ) but it is very poor about technical informations.
Is there a schematic diagram of the drive included? Most of the Apple documents covered level 2 service only, this means "swap the drive unit".
What I need is the r/w amplifier calibration procedure. Besides that, I have several drives where the spindle motor does not spin up properly. With some documentation from Sony I don't have to reverse-engineer the whole unit.
