I thought it had a more finished feel: Simplified menus, music at the
title screen, self-playing demo, probably some more interesting levels,
new types of blocks/monsters/power-ups. Digging in csa2 archives
I see someone claimed, and I quote: "supports GS/OS 5.04... it's a
LOT better in terms of speed and music etc.". Can't confirm that,
but I can say it launches fine from System 6.0.1, unlike the original.
I thought it was cool how they used multiple color palettes in the
640x200 mode for the title screen (only other program I've seen do
that is synthLAB) and 256 colors for the actual game--Arkanoid only
used 16 colors. Still, a lot like Spacefox, also from Toolbox, it was
visually and audibly impressive, but the game play was awful.
