Hi all,
I have managed to resurrect my duodisk unit and it's happily machine-
gunning away with a couple of disks that I've managed to transfer via
the audio method. I'm still awaiting a super serial card which I don't
expect to arrive for a couple of weeks.
The thing is there are a number of .dsk files which simply will not
transfer. One consistently stops at block 186. Another stops
consistently at block 85. Yet another has its own favoured block.
Is this a known issue? Something to do with the audio encoding engine
choking on particular bit sequences? Or a peculiarity of my audio
drivers? I admit I haven't tried a different computer but the effect
seems to persist even with volume adjustments.
Thanks
Charlie
