Just an update - I have not been idle ;-)

Today I put the lid back on the apple - read: I got the PCBs from Gold
Phoenix. They really make good PCBs and have a good service. I populated
them with all parts and fixed a bunch of design errors (there were a lot-
about 10 I think). But now I have a working prototype.
In the next time I'll be working on the software and on the manual. Apropos
manual: I have severe difficulties with the circuit description: I
understand my circuit, because I designed it, and it's very difficult to
explain to someone who has not designed it... Maybe someone could help me
with that by asking questions?

I'd be happy to try. ;-)

Could you "prime" the discussion by posting it the way you would
describe it's operation?
