Hi all,

I have just been given a lovely //e. Needless to say I'm thrilled -
having wanted one of these since I was a boy. Some say I still am a
boy, but let's leave my wife out of this ;)

I have a duodisk setup which isn't working leaving me in the position
of not being able to test drive the machine further than running ADT
on it - which I did successfully.

What I'd like to do is find a cassette image or two in WAV form, that
I can play from a suitable source, or a program that will extract
program files from disk images and play these to the computer in the
same way that ADT does.

Can anyone please enlighten me?

You might be able to Google the csa2 archives for this info. I do recall reading something about this a while back.

However, there are other options since you have a working serial connection.

There is a program called the Apple2 Game Server here:

The Apple Oasis emulator has a software solution for serving disks called SLINK which can simulate the floppy connection. It may not work with all disks but it does work with ProDOS. It also offers a disk server program but that requires a connection between the IIe game connector and a parallel port.

Hope these help.
