Smooth TalkerGS was a IIgs program that would convert text to speech.
Corvox, Echo Ii, Ufonics, Cricket, Double talk, all were hardware
boards or add on that would covert test to speech. There might be
others.
Not exactly what you asked, There were a few other programs that had
words already in them that all you had to do was pick them and they
would say the words.
