Re: HAM Radio Resources?

Well, I'm thinking about getting into HAM radio. I web-searched for II
and HAM resources, came up dry, so here I am.

"Ham" is the usual slang for "amateur radio operator" and isn't an
acronym.

Try Google with: "apple II" "amateur radio" for some leads.
Both the web and Google Groups should provide an interesting
trip.

There were lots of public domain Apple II programs intended
for radio amateurs--learning Morse code, sending code, decoding
code, logging QSLs, designing transmitters and receivers, etc.

Like most public domain disks, many of these never made it
into web archives, but some undoubtedly did.
