Difficulty with ADTPro

I need some help with ADTPro.  Maybe somebody could tell me where I'm 
going wrong.

I've got a IIGS with a hard drive, and System 6 loaded on it (and on 
disk).  I've downloaded System 6.0.1 and I'm trying to get it over to 
the GS and onto disks.

I've got ADTPro up and running, and bootstrapped the program over to a 
disk on the IIGS.

It seems that my problem is that the files stored on the PC are .sdk 
files, and need to be un-shrunk on the GS.  BUT... it seems to me that 
ADTPro is looking for a disk image and aborts when the file that is 
transferred doesn't come up to an exact disk image.

I think I need a way to un-shrink these images on the PC, or some kind 
of transfer program that will transfer a FILE (of any size) from the PC 
to the IIGS where I can unshrink it there.

Am I misunderstanding something here?  I can't be the first person who 
needed to do this... there's got to be a way.
