I'm a collector of old computers myself, and I have several original
Apple ]['s, some ][+'s, and //c's and //gs's (and lots of non-Apple
computers too).

I only have a couple of //e's. I stay way from collecting //e's
because they have spacebars that are made of some kind of unfortunate
plastic that oxidizes very poorly. You look at most //e's and you'll
see a nice clean grey keyboard with a poopish-yellow spacebar, and
that's just disgusting!!

The only //e's I collect are the very first batch that has white
letters on the keyboards. Those don't have spacebars that discolor
with time. (Or if they do discolor, they don't discolor to that awful
yellow that later //e's do.)

My favorite are the ]['s and ][+'s. They are built to really last,
and every chip on the motherboard is socketed, and that makes for easy
repair (which is key to keeping a very old computer working).
