As stated in our News Section (http://www.reactivemicro.com/news.php) we are
about to release an upgrade service to allow TransWarp GS owners to hit 18
MHz. Just waiting on some stock to arrive.
Our new findings and upgrade guide can be found here:
http://www.downloads.reactivemicro.com/Public/Apple%20II%20Items/Hardware/TransWarp_GS/TransWarp%20GS%20GAL%20and%20Oscillator%20Upgrade.doc
Our biggest discovery is that ICs at U60 and U63 may need to be replaced on
most cards in order to hit some of the higher speeds. Since these are SOICs
special tools are needed, which is why we will be offering this service to
the Community.
Also we have found that most speeds above 13 MHz require active cooling for
the GALs otherwise lockups may occur.
Any questions or issues while upgrading, feel free to ask. We also offer a
full range of parts.
