Trust me, I was putting the card in the right way. ;)

Anyway, after some testing with cards pulled out of an old //e that
was lying around... it's either, both Grappler+s I grabbed are bad,
and the Z80 card is either bad, has the wrong boot disk, is in the
wrong slot, or is improperly configured (or a combination of the
above,) or the GS's motherboard is bad, or all of the above.
