Re: Focus drive problem

For some reason I'm not able to boot System 6.0 successfully with my

move it to a lower numbered slot (like 4) it boots fine.

Any ideas why this occurs ? I thought the drive might be suffering
from stiction but it appears ok.

One possibility is marginal power supply voltage under load or marginal
decoupling on the card (to supply transient currents).

Moving the card down puts it somewhat closer to the power supply
connections and the main-board decoupling capacitors.

It may also just provide better contact to the card's edge connector.
